  11. AppleTalk over IP Tunneling
  12. Alan Oppenheimer made several comments on modifications he has made to
  13. the document to cover some operational experience they have acquired in
  14. their development process.  Issues still to be resolved include Zone name 
  15. explosions, security and cross-router coordination and routing.

  17. MIBs and SNMP
  18. The MIB draft document is in the Internet-Draft directory and several
  19. implementations are in progress or completed (Cayman, Shiva, Apple,
  20. etc.).  The Working Group should begin thinking of defining a specification of
  21. running SNMP over DDP (AppleTalk Network Protocol).  The AppleTalk MIB II will 
  22. be discussed at the next meeting.  Steve Waldbusser is working with Apple to 
  23. define a specification for end node management of AppleTalk hosts.

  25. PPP and Atalk
  26. Frank Slaughter (Shiva) is working toward a specification of this
  27. protocol.

  29. AA Protocol
  30. Phil Bunde from Shiva is working toward a specification of this.

  32. MacIP
  33. The MacIP document can be found in the Internet-Draft directory.
  34. Comments are strongly solicited by the author.  Implementation of both
  35. client and server must be worked on.  The next meeting of this Working Group 
  36. will be during the week of the Apple Developers Conference the week of May 13.
  37. The meeting will be a full or half day meeting with the possibility of an AURP
  38. interoperability workshop.
